Join us for an evening in which we share a meal and take communion, as Jesus did with his disciples the night before he died. We will have plenty of food to share, you need only show up. The meal will be gluten-free and vegan. After dinner, we will take communion together, read the scriptures, and (as an adapted ritual) wash each other's hands. Jesus washed his disciples' feet at the Last Supper, and we will wash hands, as it is an easier practice for children to participate in. At the end of the night, we'll blow out the candle and leave in silence, remembering that Jesus was taken away after dinner and preparing for the events of Good Friday.
